Costa Rica is an extremely popular wildlife and bird photography destination, and with good reason. For many years, the country has followed a very efficient policy of promoting its great biodiversity and its conservation achievements, becoming a mecca for eco-tourism. Many eco-lodges throughout the country have learned how to attract wildlife watchers and photographers by setting up attractive feeding stations and adapting their gardens so they attract a variety of birds and animals, many of which become habituated and are a joy to photograph.
